Yiqun Wang (王逸群) was born in Hubei Province, China in 1987. He received his B.S. degree from Electronic Engineering Department, Tsinghua University in 2009 and is now a Ph.D. candidate in Electronic Engineering Department, Tsinghua University. He received the Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship in 2009.
His research interests include low-power VLSI design and nonvolatile processor and memory. He is now working on nonvolatile processor design and wireless sensor network SOC design, with Prof. Huazhong Yang and Associate Prof. Yongpan Liu as his advisor.
He designed and fabricated the world's first ferroelectric nonvolatile microprocessor. Related works have been published in IEEE top journal: IEEE transactions on Very Large Scale integration (VLSI) Systems, and the Proceedings of ESSCIRC-2012, DATE-2012, DATE-2013, and ISCAS-2014. He was the Design Contest Winner of ISLPED-2012 on nonvolatile processor design and application.
